Extensions

An extension is the job we are asked for most often, and the shape it usually takes is the back of the house opened up into one long kitchen, dining and living space. That might be a single-storey rear extension with bi-fold or sliding doors onto the garden, a side return filled in to square off an awkward kitchen, or a two-storey extension that adds a bedroom above as well.

We handle it end to end. Foundations, drainage, blockwork and stonework, structural steels, roofing, windows and doors, first and second fix joinery, plastering, electrics and plumbing — all trades covered and sequenced by us, so you are not chasing separate contractors between stages.

The joinery is where the work shows. Roof structures, floor build-ups, door and window openings, skirtings, architraves and the fitted units that finish the room are all set out properly rather than made to fit at the end. New stonework and brickwork is matched to the existing house so the extension does not read as an add-on.
